Brent Mulberry has been named regional vice president of commer- cial markets for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Connecticut. He will oversee growth and retention across Anthem's large group, small group and individual business lines. Mulberry previously served as vice president of employer strategy and solutions for all Anthem markets, managing the company's employer portfolio, national accounts and local market product strategy. The Connecticut Museum of Culture and History said Executive Director and CEO Robert A. Kret will retire in April 2026 after seven years leading the Hart- ford-based organiza- tion. The museum's Board of Trustees has appointed Ilene Frank, the organiza- tion's deputy executive director and chief strategy officer, to succeed Kret when he steps down. She will assume the role next April. During his tenure at Connecticut Museum, Kret oversaw a strategic rebranding, expansion planning, and multiple federal grants, while growing the museum's operating budget to more than $5 million. He also led the organization through a name change: In 2023 the Connecticut Historical Society rebranded as Connecticut Museum of Culture and History. Thomaston Savings Bank has elected eight new corporators during its 2025 annual meeting. Corporators serve as ambassa- dors for the bank, promoting its mission and mutual charter. The new corporators are Lisa Attle, vice president of finance and admin- istration, Metal Finishing Technol- ogies LLC; Ted Barber, president, Chittenden Insurance Group; Nicole Bosco, executive director, New Britain Downtown District; Rose- mary Briglia, former executive vice president and chief operating officer, Thomaston Savings Bank; Kara Oneglia, vice president, O&G Indus- tries; David Pelletier, partner, Budwitz & Meyerjack P.C.; Jason Rodriguez, dealer principal, Blasius Kia of Water- town; and Keith Sullivan, partner, Zackin Zimyeski & Sullivan. Leslie McKillip has been promoted to vice president and senior commercial loan officer at Essex Bank. McKillip, who joined the bank in 2022, has more than 30 years of banking experience and has held positions including branch manager, small business relationship manager and commercial lender. A graduate of Albertus Magnus College, she serves as board secre- tary of HOPE Partnership, a nonprofit focused on affordable housing. Chris Davis, Jackie Kosiba and Kevin McMillan have been appointed to the board of direc- tors of the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau, the state's official meetings and sports event sales organization. Davis is vice presi- dent of public policy at the Connecticut Business & Industry Association; Kosiba is vice president of sales and marketing for Delamar Hotel Collec- tion; and McMillan, who also will serve as board treasurer, is director of accounting services at Fiondella Milone & LaSaracina LLP in Glastonbury. Susan Andros has joined Ascend Bank in Guilford as executive vice president and chief risk officer. Andros, who reports to the CEO, will oversee the bank's enterprise risk framework and compliance operations. She previ- ously held senior risk management roles at Wells Fargo, Synchrony and Citi. Harris Beach Murtha has named L. Joyelle "Joy" Maini senior counsel in its trusts and estates practice group. She will be based in the firm's Bantam office alongside Mary M. "Molly" Ackerly. Maini brings nearly 20 years of experience in estate planning, fiduciary representation and busi- ness succession matters. She was previously a partner at Woodbury law firm Giuliano Richardson & Sfara LLC. Maini is the sixth attorney to join the firm's trusts and estates team this year.
