It was a good bet, with snowy showers arriving right on time for the Leominster couple to say "I do." Wintery blue hydrangeas and green florals with evergreen accents gave a fresh take on the season. The venue staff seamless- ly managed the day's events under one roof, and to the bride's great satisfaction, the dance floor was hopping all night. HOW WE MET We met on a dating app. "It worked out, but I still don't recommend it," Chel- sea says. THE PROPOSAL "Tinos was so excited to propose that he ditched a plan to wait until a concert we were attending, woke me up at dawn on a Saturday, and insisted we walk the dog together," Chelsea recalls. Chelsea wanted to go back to bed, but she agreed to sit and have coffee while Tinos played a tune on the keyboard. By the end of the song, still drowsy, Chelsea realized it was a marriage proposal! She said yes, and eventually, they went back to bed. THE WEDDING DAY Our wedding was unapologetically "us." We chose the Barn at Wight Farm in Sturbridge in part because the entire celebration could happen under one roof with assistance from professionals who helped our day run smoothly. We want- ed a winter wedding and hoped for a little snow – and we got it! It was just enough snow to be magical without hin- dering travel. SPECIAL TOUCHES We loved the things we chose to do our way. We kept our vows just to our- selves. We ordered gourmet doughnuts and served them during cocktail hour and throughout the wedding – they went fast! And best of all, we had a four- foot cardboard cutout of our dog, Frank, with us throughout the day. MOMENT WE'LL ALWAYS TREASURE Not just one moment – it was all the small moments we got to sneak away and breathe for a second with each other before heading back to the party. Also, Frank's cardboard cutout took over the dance floor at one point, everyone chanting his name--if he liked strang- ers, we think he would've loved it. n ROCCO'S DOUGHNUT CO. Auburn @roccodoughnutco www.roccodoughnutco.com Tinos had few strong opinions during the planning process, except all he wanted were donuts for dessert. They were dynamite from that night until about a week later when we finished our leftovers. Vendor List COUPLE'S PICK
