Beauty F OR NEW HAMPSHIRE COUPLE Meghan and Chris Winton, Central Massachusetts offered the ideal location for the fall wedding of their dreams. A native of the region, Chris's local connection drew them to the rolling hills of Sterling for their Oc- tober celebration. Peak foliage was the stunning backdrop of a day infused with relaxed elegance, a seasonal palette of maroon, pink, and terracotta florals and details, and meaningful moments just for them. HOW WE MET We met at the gym! THE PROPOSAL Meghan's favorite time of year is the holiday season, so Chris treated her to a Christmas light show at a winery. The magic of Christmas began to fade after two hours of walking around in circles in the frigid temperatures, however. It turns out, Chris was waiting for the right moment to propose! Meghan shares that it was "perfect" and passersby were hap- py to take photos. THE WEDDING DAY For Chris, the wedding day was made perfect by the beautiful bride. Meghan added to that sentiment that the pro- fessionalism and organization of their vendors made it so they didn't have to worry about anything and just soak up the joy of the day. The weather was per- fect, and the company was even better. Meghan and Chris both got ready at The Chocksett Inn, and all the day's events took place there, making it easy for pho- tographer Alicia Petitti to capture every moment from start to finish. SPECIAL TOUCHES We chose to do a first look and pri- vate vows before the ceremony, and we exchanged wedding gifts at that time, too. "It was a heartfelt moment between the two of us before we were swept up in the excitement of the day," says Meghan. Then, we enjoyed a private cocktail hour with just our families and wedding par- ty directly following the ceremony out- side, before joining the large cocktail party inside. And we were even able to make our cats, Maui and Cleo, part of the festivities by naming our signature cocktails after them! MOMENT WE'LL ALWAYS TREASURE It was our private first look, for both of us. The only other person present was our photographer. n ALICIA PETITTI PHOTOGRAPHY www.aliciapetitti.com @aliciapetittiphotography Meghan shares that "Ali made us feel comfortable and confident and her photos are amazing. She is extremely timely and organized, which saved me a lot of stress! On the day of the wedding, I knew I didn't have to think of anything – she had it covered!" Vendor List COUPLE'S PICK
