M
y wife and I have been
meaning to get to our
legacy planning for years.
As adults, but especially
as the parents of special
needs children, we keep
talking about how we need to have all the proper
documentation in place for the rest of our lives
and beyond. Yet, we haven't yet fully taken
that leap, as we keep reminding ourselves of its
importance as we go through life's neverending
to-do list.
is special edition Senior Resource Guide
from Worcester Business Journal is designed to help all of us understand
what comes next in life and how to properly plan for our parents, our
children, and ourselves. In the following pages, you will find lists and
directories for all the financial, health care, and planning providers you will
need as you age.
Additionally, WBJ Staff Writer Mica Kanner-Mascolo provides valuable
insight into the rising issue of elder housing in her story "e rising risk
of homelessness" on page 6. Back on page 18, WBJ Correspondent Laura
Finaldi breaks down legacy planning in her "Trusts, wills, and estates" story.
I hope you find all of this as valuable as I do.
