Carrascoza's 13-year career at Citizens started as a part- time teller. She has been progressively promoted all the way up to her current role, where she leads a team of relationship managers across Connecticut, Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts. Dime Bank announced that Nicholas J. Statoulas has become the 14th president in its 156-year history. Statoulas, of Glaston- bury, previously served as executive vice presi- dent and chief operating officer. He joined Dime in 2018 after nearly three decades in community banking, including leadership roles at Rockville Bank and United Bank. He succeeds Nick Caplanson, who is retiring as president but will remain CEO until the end of the year. Statoulas will assume the CEO position on Jan. 1, when Caplanson transitions to board chairman. Albertus Magnus College Presi- dent Marc M. Camille has had his contract extended through the 2029-30 academic year. Camille is in his ninth year leading the New Haven-based Catholic college. Under Camille's tenure, Albertus said it has experienced record undergrad- uate enrollment growth and expanded fundraising. The school says it has enrolled its five largest incoming classes during his presidency and increased faculty and staff diversity. Jacob G. Padrón will conclude his tenure as artistic director of Long Wharf Theatre following the 2025-26 season. Padrón, who joined the theatre in 2019, led the nonprofit through a period of change that included adopting a new producing model, staging performances in multiple venues, and expanding community partnerships. Padrón will remain in his role through the end of next season to support a leadership transition. Financial services company USAA has appointed a longtime Connecticut insurance executive and UConn MBA graduate as president of its life insurance subsidiary. Rob Arena, who built much of his career in the state's insurance sector, will begin his new role leading San Antonio, Texas-based USAA Life Insurance Co. on Jan. 5, 2026, the company announced. He most recently served as co-presi- dent of Global Atlantic Financial Group, which has its Connecticut office in downtown Hartford. He also previously held senior leadership roles at The Hartford and Prudential, and has been a board member of The Bushnell. New Britain-based Hospital for Special Care has appointed Orla Brandos as its new chief operating officer and chief nursing officer. Brandos brings more than three decades of healthcare lead- ership experience, most recently serving as vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at Newport Hospital, Brown University Health. She has also held leadership roles in regional and national professional organizations, including serving as president of the Organization of Nurse Leaders of New England. Law firm Hinckley Allen has added Enrico "Rick" Costantini as counsel in its Hartford office. Costantini is a transactional attorney who focuses on real estate, land use, zoning and corporate matters. He has represented developers, landlords, tenants, lenders, munic- ipalities and hospitality groups in acquisitions, financing and development projects. New Haven marketing agency Red Rock Branding has hired Christian Bran as creative director, Jess Mannering as social media manager, and Kim Fleck as social media engagement specialist. Bran is a designer with experience in brand identity, digital strategy and illus- tration, and will lead creative strategy and design execution. Mannering, who holds graduate and under- graduate degrees in communications from West Virginia Univer- sity, has led digital campaigns for national brands and authors. Fleck has more than a decade of social media experience with a focus on community engagement, and is also a published author and longtime education professional.
