Northern Light Cancer Care in Brewer hired Arslan Babar and Muhammad Niazi as oncologists. University of Maine in Orono hired Ronald Roy to guide research and partnerships at the university's Maine College of Engineering and Computing. Penobscot Community Health Center in Bangor hired Danny Williams as president of the newly formed PCHC Foundation. Williams most recently served as execu- tive director of the Collins Center for the Arts at the University of Maine. Maine State Credit Union in Augusta hired Rori Carver as vice president of project manage- ment and business intelligence. Trailmix Labs, an AI and workflow auto- mation company in Portland, hired Gillian Ford as head of operations. Ford was previously with Words From the Woods. The Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine in Portland hired Matt McDermit as director of marketing and communica- tions. McDermit most recently served as director of marketing campaigns at the University of Southern Maine. Norway Savings Bank hired Payton Kennison as branch manager assistant vice president in Bridgton. J.M. Arbour in Gardiner hired Evan Campbell as chief investment officer. Campbell previ- ously served as vice president at Delphi Management. Sevigny was previously plant supervisor, Brochu was shipping supervisor, Nadeau was a production supervisor and LaBelle was a machine operator and trainer. Norway Savings Bank promoted Janel Danforth to retail operations officer vice president. Danforth most recently served as retail strategies analyst. Maine Community Foundation in Ellsworth added John Bear Mitchell, Michelle Hayes and Charles Rudelitch to its board of directors. Mitchell is the University of Maine System office Native American waiver and educational program coordi- nator as well as the University of Maine's Wabanaki Center outreach and student development coordinator and a lecturer of Wabanaki and multicultural studies; Hayes is co-founder of Smith, Kjelgaard & Hayes, a human resources consulting firm; and Rudelitch is executive director of the Sunrise County Economic Council. Maine Community College System in Augusta elected Jasmine Sanders as a student trustee on its board of trustees. Sanders is working on her second asso- ciate degree at Kennebec Valley Community College, in nursing. Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry announced that Commissioner Amanda Beal was elected to serve as the 2025-26 president of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture. American Heart Association named Denise McDonough as chair of its Maine 2025-26 Go Red for Women initiative. McDonough is president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Maine.
