For context, as a young profes- sional, my career so far spans 12 years and the thought of becoming an airport director seemed in the distant future. I have been fortunate to come across great opportunities, which have enabled me to achieve my career goals sooner than anticipated. Passion project: Having such a dynamic work environment, I find peace at home. My home is the place for me to discon- nect, refresh and re-energize. Therefore, I find comfort in setting up and planning each room of my home. My favorite room in my home is my office and reading room because I get to work on other passion projects and activities. Lightbulb moment: I recently completed a fellowship at Harvard University, where I had the opportunity to meet and inter- act with great minds from around the globe. These individuals, from many different industries, are working on vari- ous incredible infrastructure projects. My lightbulb recently went on as I was pondering how intriguing their work is and how best to showcase their work and experiences on my podcast. Influential book: "The Lean Startup," by Eric Ries. Favorite TV show: "The Office" Personal hero: My mother has been a role model for me my entire life. She was a compassionate soul and taught me the importance of being kind, pas- sionate and having a fulfilling work ethic. Favorite quote: "Believe you can and you're halfway there." — Theodore Roosevelt Best way to recharge: I rarely have spare time, but when I do, I enjoy reading a good book, cooking and traveling. I find these activities personally fulfilling. Maine's biggest challenge: I believe the need for a more qual- ified workforce that is able to meet the employment needs of the moment is a primary chal- lenge. We are at the juncture that intersects generations, technology innovations and personal expectations — all of which might look different than they did in the past. We must focus our attention on bridging the gap.
