environmental, and recreational experiences for children. We engage in activities
that enhance the quality and effectiveness of Maine's youth camps.

E Certifying youth ages 9-18 in Junior Maine Guide
(JMG), an outdoor skills program created in partner-
ship with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries
and Wildlife. The JMG progression begins with
Jr. Maine Woodscra• and Maine Woodscra•
programs, offerd by many MSC camps.
E Offering summer camp experiences through the
Level Ground Initiative, free of charge, to under
served populations of school-aged children in
Maine for whom such experiences would otherwise
be unavailable, guided by a commitment to racial
and economic diversity.
