As a nonprofit serving Maine, New Hampshire, and Northern Vermont, we help people overcome barriers to employment. From job training to career support, we empower people to build skills, gain confidence, and thrive in their communi es. Every dona on and purchase fuels this mission because when people succeed, communi es grow stronger. Goodwill NNE's 30+ retail loca ons across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont divert over 50 million pounds of donated stuff from local landfills each year, while offering an accessible and affordable reuse shopping op on for people in our communi es. Retail revenues help fund Goodwill's mission to invest in people who need support to achieve their work and life goals, and over 1,400 stable, flexible jobs are provided by the organiza on for folks at all stages of their employment journey. Empowering people to overcome barriers through work is at the heart of our mission. That's why we offer five core services and comprehensive support to help people build stable, fulfilling futures: Workforce Solu ons Goodwill empowers people to achieve stability through work, offering training, and employment to build inclusive, thriving communi es across six coastal coun es in Maine. Employee Life Naviga on Our internal Life Naviga on program provides individualized, holis c assistance to help employees achieve stability and thrive both at work and beyond by connec ng them with vital resources and guidance. Voca onal Rehabilita on Goodwill supports youth and adults with disabili es through job training, paid work experiences, and holis c support, removing barriers to fulfilling, long-term employment. SNAP E&T Our SNAP E&T program connects Mainers with career advisors, training, and financial support to help overcome employment barriers and build las ng career pathways. AmeriCorps Goodwill manages AmeriCorps programs that place members in nonprofits, schools, and municipali es, strengthening communi es across Northern New England through service and long-term support.
