X X I I 64 G I V I N G G U I D E 2 0 2 5 – 2 0 2 6 N O N P RO F I T P RO F I L E 2026 GOALS As an official Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), one of the organization's main goals is to implement Care Coordination services agency-wide. Care Coordinators are specially trained to support clients in navigating their care journey, coordinate with primary care providers to help address chronic health issues, and connect clients with needed resources and support in the community. As part of becoming a CCBHC, KBH will also update all of its branding to ensure consistent, accurate and engaging messaging. e organization is in the process of updating its website, print materials and digital platforms to better reflect its enhanced service-delivery. KBH's Human Resources Department is implementing a five-year strategic vision for the 2025-26 year. e department's goal is to advance work across five key pillars: strengthening infrastructure and efficiency through updated systems and policies; deepening collaboration with leadership to enhance supervisory support; improving recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure alignment with organizational values; fostering growth through training, performance feedback, and development planning; and driving employee engagement and retention through meaningful connection and appreciation. KBH is also working to build a more supportive safety and emergency preparedness infrastructure by evaluating physical plant layout and security, enhancing staff training and readiness, and strengthening our approach to drills and incident debriefings, all informed by staff feedback. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/ OPPORTUNITIES Kennebec Behavioral Health will be hosting its 10th annual fundraiser on Oct. 18, 2025 from 6-9 p.m. in Augusta. A Night Out of Dueling Pianos will feature the Vegas-style, dueling pianos showcase, "Keys to the City," featuring Jim Ciampi and Seth Holbrook. Guests can also enjoy appetizers, cash bar, silent auction and raffle. An online auction goes live on Oct. 6, 2025 and ends dur- ing the in-person event. Tickets start at $50 and can be purchased at www. kbhmaine.org/anightout. Businesses can become regular spon- sors and/or in-kind sponsors. A Night Out has five sponsorship levels, some of which include tickets to the event. Sponsors may donate a gift certificate, item or basket for the raffle and online auction. Funds raised through the event benefit KBH's College Scholarship Fund and support our future mental health providers.
