Today, under new leadership, we're honoring that legacy while building the future, one detail at a time. Our Story Pond Cove Millwork began in Cape Elizabeth, later operated in South Portland, and in 2018, moved into a 32,000 square-foot facility in Saco. is move wasn't just about expansion, it enabled a full redesign of our workflow. With new CNC capabilities and a continuous, linear production layout, we've improved produc- tivity, reduced lead times, and allowed our team to focus more on skilled craftsmanship. We've invested in modern infrastructure that reflects our values: LED lighting for energy efficiency, advanced dust and air filtration for health and safety, and two automotive-grade spray booths to elevate our finishing process. ese enhance- ments support our ongoing commitment to quality, sustain- ability, and employee well-being. A New Chapter, Built on Trust Two of the most influential figures in our history are Peter Flaherty and Tracy Chadbourne. As co-owners and mentors, they led with integrity and built lasting relationships grounded in hard work, attention to detail, and genuine care for customers and employees. Succession at Pond Cove wasn't improvised, it was intentional. In 2016, Peter and Tracy began discussing future ownership, and by 2018, Jason Taylor, Bryan Sheedy, and Aaron Nutter, each with deep operational experience, emerged as the next generation of leadership. An initial internal stock purchase in 2022 allowed the team to gain ownership experience while helping the company achieve record revenues. In 2024, the full transition was finalized with support from Norway Savings Bank and seller financing. " I'm proud of all the projects I've been a part of and relationships I've built for the last 20 years with Pond Cove and look forward to facing new challenges as an owner for the next 20 years.
