Winners included Kathy Horne, assistant manager, and Rebecca Smith, loan servic- ing assistant manager, "Partner Awards;" Crystal Lambert, vice president and commercial opera- tions manager, and Stefan Lange, vice president and controller of accounting, "Employees of the Year;" and Rich Goodenough, vice president commercial lender, and Karen Gellatly, human resources manager, "Community Service Awards." Award recipients were provided with the opportunity to make a direct donation from the bank to a nonprofit organization of their choice. Pierce Atwood, a law firm in Portland, announced that for the 10th consecutive year, Chambers High Net Worth recognized the firm as one of the nation's lead- ing law firms for Private Wealth Law. In addition, the firm's trusts and estates practice received a top "Band 1" ranking in Maine and three partners were recognized individually. The Maine Press Association Hall of Fame announced its 2025 inductees including George Danby, editorial cartoonist for the Bangor Daily News, and Dennis Hoey, a night reporter, and John Ewing, a photojournalist, with the Portland Press Herald.
