Like so many leaders, I'm approaching this year with a positive and forward-thinking momentum. It doesn't ma‹er if you're in the start-up or expansion stage, maintaining a positive outlook is critical to implementing effective plans and how you manage problems. I feel a sense of pride as I reflect on how Torrington Savings Bank has continued to grow and adapt in an evolving industry to be‹er meet our customers' expectations and needs over the past year. Being President & CEO of a community bank is a remarkable honor and although these are challenging times, I approach this year with a renewed sense of optimism. This role is deeply personal for me. I live, work, and have raised my family in the communities we serve. Our clients are my neighbors, and the businesses we serve not only power our local economy, but are where my family, colleagues, team members, and I look to meet our needs and goals. The Connecticut small business community is resilient. Throughout 2024, businesses were vulnerable to the increased cost of labor and raw materials. One consistent hurdle is the limits on expansion due to lack of access to a skilled workforce. As a Bank that is commi‹ed to investing in our communities, we continually look for opportunities to make our state a special place to live and work. Adapting is a common theme that we expect to continue in 2025 as businesses look for ways to overcome challenges. In today's digital first world, businesses need to set themselves apart by prioritizing a personal connection to create a positive experience at every touchpoint. As TSB looks forward, we aim to deepen relationships with our customers by providing solutions to support their changing needs and by embracing opportunities. We complement our Cash Management technology solutions with personal service that helps our business customers simplify operations. Our shared journey isn't without challenges, but our strength and strategy has positioned us well to succeed. We're here to help you achieve your goals, so you don't have to face them alone. We remain commi‹ed to helping our local communities and businesses thrive, just as we have for the past seven generations. Lesa A. Vanoi President & Chief Executive Officer
