The nonprofit Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut has named Cynthia Bidorini its new executive director. A seasoned nonprofit leader with over 20 years of experience, Bidorini brings a background in fundraising, marketing, strategic planning and advocacy. Most recently, she served as director of marketing operations at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, where she played a key role in supporting $150 million in annual fundraising efforts. The Brain Injury Alliance provides awareness, education, resources and support for individuals affected by brain injury. KeyBank announced Kasia Zaman has been named relationship manager, business banking. CATEGORIES FOR NOMINATION: Hartford International University, a private theological school, has named Rev. Sherry Turner its 12th president, effective July 1. Turner will replace President Joel N. Lohr, who has led Hartford International since 2018. Turner, an alumnus of Hartford International's Black Ministries Program, has been a member of the seminary's board of trustees since 2023. Turner will be the first Afri- can-American and third woman to lead Hartford International. She was recently the vice president of stra- tegic initiatives at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. TSKP STUDIO announced that a longtime partner at the firm, Ryszard Szczypek, has retired. His expertise was in K-12 educa- tion projects. Throughout his career, Szczypek was instrumental in devel- oping educational programs for over 40 public schools. Notable projects under his leadership included Guilford High School, Wilton Library, the U.S. Naval Submarine Training Center in Groton, Hartford's Historic Union Station Transportation Center, Bristow Middle School, and the National Museum of Modern Art in Korea. SJB's board will be piloted by co-Presidents Jeff Ferketic and Yvonne Matthews, with Anne Danaher serving as vice president, George Konefal as treasurer, and Novlette Williams as secretary. These officers and the other members of SJB's board of directors serve as unpaid volunteers. Robin H. Clare is SJB's executive director. New Britain-based Community Mental Health Affiliates has named Grace Cavallo its new president and CEO. Cavallo will take on the new role starting July 1, 2025, replacing Raymond J. Gorman, who announced in October 2024 that he was stepping down after nearly 20 years leading CMHA. Cavallo began her career at Child & Family Services in Newport, Rhode Island, where she worked for five years before being hired as a senior substance abuse counselor at CMHA in 2003. Cavallo has held progressively signif- icant roles at CMHA, from program coordinator of the agency's former inpatient substance abuse program to ford office, located at 225 Asylum St. Zaman has more than 18 years of financial services experience. Previ- ously, she worked as business banking relationship manager for JPMorgan Chase in West Hartford. She has also worked for Owens Realty Services, Johnson Brunetti Retire- ment & Investment Specialists, Bank of America and TD Bank. Zaman earned her bachelor's degree in accounting and MBA in finance from Central Connecticut State University. Windsor Federal Bank has hired Daniel Silva as its first vice president, residential and consumer lending. Silva brings over 22 years of consumer and mortgage experience to lead and support Windsor Federal's lending production and operations. Prior to joining Windsor Federal, Silva served as vice president, marketplace lending at OwnUp. He also served as vice president, senior manager, direct lending at People's United Bank; and senior vice president, consumer direct lending at United Bank, prior to the merger with Peoples United.
