Craig A. Hargrove and Avi A. Kamrat will take over the top lead- ership posts of the firm, which specializes in the rehabilitation of building exteriors. They will replace outgoing President Russell M. Sanders, who joined the firm in 1978, and will stay on as president emeritus and serve as senior advisor until his planned retirement later this year. Hargrove has served as director of architec- ture and manager of the firm's New York City office for more than 20 years, the firm said. Kamrat has served for more than 20 years as the firm's director of administration and chief financial officer. John J. Hoffmann, company founder, will continue in his role as executive chairman and plans to retire after seeing the firm to its 50th anniversary in 2027, the company said. The National Women in Manu- facturing Education Foundation has named two Connecticut industry professionals to its board of directors. Jessica Chavez, a training manager at Farmington manufacturer TRUMPF Inc., and Michele Loo, chief diver- sity officer of Danbury-based Linde Canada Inc., will both serve three- year terms on the board. The foundation provides women with connections, access to career path- ways, and programming at all stages of their manufacturing careers. Hartford-based JCJ Architecture announced numerous promo- tions, including the elevation of Emily Czarnecki to principal, lead interior designer. Three other employees were promoted to associate principal: Christine Faverio (senior project designer, studio leader); Fawn Walton Pellegrini (senior project manager, studio leader); and Varnell Alexander Smith (senior project manager). Three other employees were promoted to senior associate: Carrie-Ann Nielsen (senior project designer); Lisa St. Amand (project designer, studio leader); and Brian Stone (senior project architect). St. Francis Hospital has named four new members to its board of direc- tors: Hector Glynn, David Hopkins, Edward Kelly and Dr. Ronald Kimmel.
