Hartford Mayor Arunan Arulam- palam announced Taneisha Duggan will serve as the inaugural director of the city's newly established Office of Arts, Culture and Entertainment. In her new role, Duggan will promote artists and venues and organize and coordinate Hartford events and offerings. She will also try to maximize Hartford's appeal, while improving the accessibility of arts to locals. Duggan brings over 20 years of industry experience to the role, having worked as a producer, director and cultural architect. She was trained as an actress at the State University of New York Purchase College in the School of Theater Arts and Film. She began her career as an emergency and trauma nurse before transitioning into executive leadership within major academic health systems, steadily advancing through roles in emergency departments, trauma centers, and community hospitals. Christopher J. Luise, co-founder and CEO of Rocky Hill-based IT management and cybersecurity company ADNET Technol- ogies, has been named chief oper- ating officer of New Charter Technologies. Luise, who co-founded ADNET in 1991, has also served as group president of New Charter for the past three years. New Charter acquired ADNET in 2021. In his new role, he will oversee operations for New Charter's network of over 30 companies across North America. Luise will step down as ADNET's CEO, but remain involved in its strategic alignment with New Charter. Advertising agency Cronin has promoted Sean Folan to president and chief operating officer and Elizabeth Proctor to executive vice president of account service, strategy and digital. Mark Demuro remains CEO. Folan, who joined Cronin in 2021 as healthcare practice leader, was most recently executive vice president and COO. Proctor, with the agency since 2017, previously led the account service team. The promotion adds the strategy and digital teams to her portfolio. Cronin's clients include Travelers, Dunkin' Donuts, Duracell, Liberty Bank, and Connecticut's Make It Here campaign. Habitat for Humanity of North Central CT says its longtime CEO will step down later this year. Karraine Moody will be replaced by Kris McKelvie, who is now chief operating officer. The nonprofit says that under Moody's leadership, it has increased the number of families it serves annually from 10 to 50 while expanding into Tolland County, opened two retail locations in Bloomfield and Vernon, and was the first Habitat in Connecticut to build zero-energy homes. Moody will leave her post later this year, with McKelvie slated to take the CEO position in January 2026. McKelvie joined Habitat North Central CT as an AmeriCorps volun- teer member in 2007. Yale New Haven Hospital has appointed Courtney Vose as chief nursing officer. Vose brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience, previously serving as chief nursing officer at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and New York-Presbyterian.
