Trump has been appointed general counsel and will serve on the management committee at Quinnipiac University. He will join Quin- nipiac on Jan. 28. Trump comes to Quinnipiac from the University of Southern Indiana, where he was vice president for government affairs and general counsel, and previously chief govern- ment and legal affairs officer. Middletown-based Community Health Center Inc. announced the Aaron Trump Wendy Estela Eric Plummer Anthony Rizzo appointment of Dr. Eric R. Vaught as chief medical officer. Vaught will lead CHC's medical staff, which includes 150 primary care providers in various specialties. He has a background in family medicine, including obstetrics, public health and organizational leadership. His experience includes a long record of service in the U.S. Navy, where he practiced as a family physician. South Windsor-based HVAC equipment, systems and service provider Flow Tech Inc. announced the promotion of Kevin Wixom to director of sales. Wixom has been with the company for nine years, progressing from an inside sales applications engineer to an outside sales engineer in 2019. In his new role, he will join Flow Tech's leadership team and oversee relationships with manufacturers. Wallingford's Gaylord Specialty Healthcare has named Lisa Avellino vice president and chief information officer. Avellino brings a 20-year track record in leading information tech- nology initiatives. Her early career began on the frontlines of health care as an EMT and surgical technologist. Prior to joining Gaylord, Avellino served as chief information, security and technology officer at Moses Weitzman Health Center in Middle- town. She also served as director of IT and communications operations at Yale New Haven Health System. Newington-based Architectural Building Systems has named Rich Fortunato as director of operations. Fortunato joined the company after a lengthy career as a partner, vice president and chief operating officer at Fortunato Construction Group. In his new role at ABS, Fortunato will lead operations, oversee project management and support sales and estimating.
