18 Worcester Business Journal | December 23, 2024 | wbjournal.com Conversations with Christopher Provo WORCESTER BUSINESS JOURNAL: Chris, Tell us a little bit about Provo. What's your background? how long have you been in the business? What type of clients does your firm specialize in? CHRIS PROVO: Provo Wealth Management Group is a committed team of Registered Investment Advisors serving our clients with progressive wealth management strategies. We have run a successful practice for four decades and we specialize in working with other business owners and their families. We also work with a wide variety of clients from those new to the work force looking for a knowledgeable investor to clients who are much more seasoned but need more direct guidance on established investment vehicles. WBJ: How does the customization process work when aligning client's needs to investment vehicles and strategies? How do you help your clients get started and articulate their goals? CP: We meet with our clients in person or virtually whatever works best for them. During the initial meeting we identify the client's goals, assess their needs, listen to both their short and long term objectives such as retirement, education, legacy planning and wealth preservation. We discuss their time lines and risk tolerance by assessing their comfort level with various investment vehicles. We discuss their timelines, liquidity needs and values and preferences. We achieve through understanding, when the client will need the funds, evaluating the liquidity the client may need for emergencies or ongoing expenses. We then incorporate all the clients' preferences into a plan that works best for them, matching their needs and preferences with investment options, through diversification, customization, strategic allocation and tax efficiency. We provide ongoing monitoring by making adjustments and rebalancing based on the individual client's life changes. We conduct, at a minimum, yearly performance reviews where we meet with our clients to discuss how they are doing and if any changes need to be made. Continuing to check in allows our team to assess their satisfaction and we are always willing to make adjustments. S P E C I A L A D V E RT I S I N G S E C T I O N CHRISTOPHER P.
