The city of Portland's Health and Human Services Department promoted Bridget Rauscher to public health director. Rauscher previously held the position on an interim basis. The city of Auburn promoted Eric Cousens to executive director of public services and Stephen Almquist to deputy chief of the Auburn Fire Department. Cousens was previously director of planning, permitting and code while Almquist was EMS coordinator. IDEXX Laboratories Inc., a provider of veterinary diagnostics and software in Westbrook, promoted Andrew Emerson to CFO, effective June 1, 2025. Emerson, who will take over for Brian McKeon, currently serves as senior vice president of finance for corporate and for the company's companion animal group division.
