The bank announced earlier this year that it would open five more branches in Connecticut over the next three years as part of a multibil- lion-dollar investment in its nationwide branch network. Since 2019, Chase Bank has grown its Connecticut branch footprint by 30.6%, from 49 to 64 branches, the bank said. CEO of wholesale food distributor linked to $5.78M Blue Fox Run golf course purchase Blue Fox Run, a sprawling 250-acre golf course in Avon, has sold for $5.78 million, the town's clerk office confirmed. The 27-hole golf course, at 65 Nod Road, was put up for sale this summer via auction, which took place on Sept. 26. The sale was recorded in land records on Nov. 4. The buyer was Town Fox LLC, which is controlled by Michael A. Bozzuto, CEO of Cheshire- based wholesale food distributor Bozzuto's Inc. The Hometown Foundation Inc., the nonprofit charitable arm of Bozzuto's Inc., is also listed as principal of the buying LLC. It wasn't immediately clear what the buyer intends to do with the property. Colliers was the listing agent. Mass. credit union active in small biz lending gets approval for CT expansion A Massachusetts-based credit union has received state regulatory approval to expand into Connecticut. Holyoke Credit Union received approval from the state Department of Banking to expand its member- ship field into Hartford County. The credit union's current member- ship covers people who live, work or attend school in Hampden and Hamp- shire counties, in Massachusetts. As of Sept. 30, Holyoke Credit Union reported $287.4 million in assets and 22,985 members, according to the National Credit Union Administration. It has three branches, including one in West Springfield. The credit union said the expansion will allow it to better absorb escalating operating and regulatory costs and put it in a position to better "provide quality financial services to current and future members."
