In her new role, Saltos will be responsible for managing all the firm's Connecticut business, including oversight of client-facing teams, busi- ness development, client retention, and integrated delivery of its family office, private banking, investment management and trust services. Saltos, who is based in Bridge- port, has been part of M&T Bank/ Wilmington Trust for more than 18 years. Since 2015, she has focused on growing the firm's overall wealth management business, initially in private banking where she managed a team of private bankers throughout greater New York City. BGM Law Group announced that Kristen Zaehringer and James McLaughlin have joined the firm as partners. Zaehringer's practice focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration, employment law counseling and disputes, contract negotiation and litigation and appellate work. She previously served as a partner at a Connecticut-based boutique litigation firm, as well as at Murtha Cullina LLP. McLaughlin advises businesses at every stage of their life cycle, from formation to exit, and works with clients ranging from family-owned small businesses to multinational public companies. He was previously a partner in the business and finance group at Murtha Cullina. Dr. Atique A. Mirza has been elected the new board of directors president of the Hartford County Medical Association. Mirza, a cardiologist, will lead the association in 2025 and 2026. He is a partner at Central Connecticut Cardiolo- gists LLC, with offices in Hartford, Enfield and Simsbury. Jewett City Savings Bank Pres- ident and CEO Michael Alberts has been elected to the Connecticut Bankers Association board of directors. He will serve a three-year term. Jewett City Savings Bank is a mutual savings bank operating branches in Jewett City, Brooklyn, Dayville, Pawca- tuck, Plainfield, Preston and Putnam. New Haven-based Babbidge Construction Co. has hired Chris Malerba as a project executive. With over 30 years of experience in Connecticut's construc- tion industry, Malerba has managed numerous complex renovations, additions and ground-up projects valued at up to $40 million. He will be focused on Babbidge's private sector projects in the educational, health care, life sciences, cultural and corporate markets. He is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University's construc- tion management program. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford's board of trustees has approved the nominations of four new trustees: Kristin Connelly, Dr. Ian McNeill, Chapin Duke Yates and Joshua Zigman. Connelly is a communications and development professional who has worked at the White House and United Nations Foundation. She has served as the assistant director of corporate and foundation relations at Trinity College. McNeill is an assistant professor of neurosurgery and co-director of scoliosis and spinal deformity surgery at UConn Health and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Yates is the head varsity field hockey coach at Kingswood Oxford School. Zigman is the founder of Zigman Advisory, an executive search and advisory firm. Attorney Isabelle Bibet-Kalinyak has joined law firm Pullman & Comley as a partner in its health- care and business and finance practices. Bibet-Kalinyak's focus will be on healthcare transactions involving private equity, physician groups, hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, manage- ment services organization structuring, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and regulatory compliance. Before joining Pullman & Comley, she served as vice chair of the health- care practice group at a New Jersey law firm. Aaron Skarzenski recently was appointed the executive director of the Windham Textile and History Museum, better known as the Mill Museum. In his new role, Skarzenski is the muse- um's permanent chief executive officer, leading staff and volunteers.
