Our goal is to enhance and advance a system of career readiness that prepares students for successful post-secondary opportunities and credentials of value attainment. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and socioeconomic realities, including low-income, students with disabilities, students experiencing the foster care system or homelessness, and students who face inequities due to race, ethnicity, gender identity or personal, social and academic challenges. is year, JMG will serve more than 12,000 students across Maine's 16 counties through over 150 school partnerships and community collaborations, including programming on every Maine public university and community college campus. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/ OPPORTUNITIES JMG's success relies on the involvement of hundreds of stakeholders and is built on a strong foundation of unwavering commitment to our core student-cen- tered values. Our action-driven culture and relationship-based approach create an environment that achieves positive outcomes for students and their fami- lies. Our long-standing partnerships with public education and employ- ers uniquely position JMG to support Maine's workforce development goals and help students as they begin their careers. For JMG students, exploring and experiencing workforce opportu- nities often become pivotal moments for personal growth and motivators for academic engagement. GIVING OPPORTUNITIES JMG's success relies on the involvement of hundreds of stakeholders and a commitment to our core student-centered values. Our culture and relationship-based approach foster positive outcomes for students and their families. JMG's partnerships with public education and employers support Maine's workforce goals and help students launch their careers. JMG has an Employer Partnership Program that offers benefits for employers of all sizes, providing a direct connection to young talent. Individual donors can contribute anytime via our website at JMG.org. For more information about our partnerships, contact Paige Holmes, Senior Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations, at pholmes@JMG.org. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES JMG's success is dependent on the involvement of hundreds of stakeholders and rests upon the strong foundation of an unwavering commitment to our core student-centered values. By connecting students to employers and community- based organizations outside of school, students begin to see life through a dif- ferent lens. Students learn and are able to demonstrate leadership, decision-making and team-building skills. They begin working in teams and gain insights into the value of their contributions. For JMG students, these experiences often become touchstones for personal growth, as well as motivators for learning within school. Volunteer opportunities include volun- teering at student events, providing stu- dent internships, inviting students on a company tour, volunteering to speak in a classroom, or offering job shadowing experiences at your place of work.
