FUNDRAISING EVENTS/ OPPORTUNITIES In Southern Maine, CCM's annual Put Children First Golf Classic is held every September in the Portland area to support childcare scholarships for low-income families at our two child development centers in Portland and Biddeford. We welcome sponsors at various monetary levels, through volunteering at the event, and enrolling teams! In Northern Maine, our Feed e County initiative brings together businesses and the community to increase awareness of food insecurity. Fundraising includes radio and TV telethons and other local outreach. Money raised supports CCM's Hunger & Relief Services, which operates two food banks, grows and gleans fresh local vegetables through our Farm for ME initiative, and supplies 28-plus food pantries in Northern Maine, which served nearly 34,000 people last year.
