My family are doctors and nurses, and I have a plethora of family in the cardiology field and mental health. Aer exploring other fields, I started a medical billing company and found a lot of inconsistencies in terms of communication between insurance companies, private practices, and the patients. Aer noticing these inconsistencies, I started MetaScriptMD from a need to create not only transparency, but solutions-based situations where all parties involved can be equally informed. I used this initial idea and began utilizing AI to automate various processes within the healthcare system. What products does your company offer? Our products are called Vetlife360 and KatChat. Vetlife360 is an app that reads your eye retina and gives an accurate reading of your vitals, including your pulse, heart rate, and oxidation level within a minute. We hope to decrease the reading time from 40 seconds to five- or 10-second intervals. KatChat serves as a mental health AI assistant tool when a therapist isn't readily available. If somebody is having a crisis at 3 a.m. and isn't able to get access to a mental health professional, KatChat can help. When did you start working on MetaScriptMD? It spawned over a two-year period. We started implementing and developing the technology a year ago. ey are completed products, but there are a couple of nuances on the back end the development team needs to do before we release them to the public. When do you hope to launch MetaScriptMD to the public? I want to use local media outlets as the catalyst to present the products. A lot of industry leaders within local communities keep their eye on the products coming out. So we figured utilizing the media as a catalyst would be a good way to launch our company to the public. What did you do before you got into the medical career space? As soon as I got out of high school, I went right into the business world, cultivating relationships and learning the nuances of different industries. I have been involved in the entertainment industry since I was 13 years old and was signed to Creative Entertainment Group talent agency in New York. I ran for the District 5 seat of the Worcester City Council in 2019, so I was involved in politics for a period of time. I operated a pet food company and did a marketing and advertising company. What are your future plans? I always want to be someone who advocates for various medical technologies to be implemented in different ways. I want to be an advocate for children and younger people who can't necessarily speak for themselves. Children are oen misdiagnosed with different conditions such as ADHD or autism, and I want to create technologies and tools that can test the child fairly. If at some point a company understands our mission and wants to take over through an acquisition, it is something I am open to. As a long-term objective, I want MetaScriptMD to become a completely recognizable, a household name within the medical industry, starting in the Worcester community and eventually spreading internationally. is interview was conducted and edited for length and clarity by WBJ Correspondent Sara Bedigian.
