C-SUITE | 2024 AWARDS HARTFORDBUSINESS.COM | SEPTEMBER 2, 2024 B15 T yler Booth is executive vice president and chief operations officer of Inter- Community Health Care, a $45 million nonprofit community healthcare agency that provides care to nearly 10,000 people in their clinic, residential, school and communi- ty-based settings. Booth oversees all care delivery aspects of the agency's 48 programs and 20 locations. e creator of multiple care system innova- tions that have received national recognition, he also provides regional and national consultation. What have been your biggest professional accomplishments over the past year? is has been a busy year for me and for InterCommunity. Much of our efforts have been dedicated to restructuring our residential programs, including creating a new level of care for Connecticut to align with statewide payment changes. However, what I am most proud of is the creation of e Gallery at InterCom- munity. Committed to removing barriers to care and recognizing the connection between art and well-being, the gallery provides free access to museum-quality works by local artists. In our first year, more than 1,000 people enjoyed three different exhibits at the only free art gallery in East Hartford. It has been an honor to help bring high-quality art to non-tra- ditional museum-goers. e Gallery at InterCom- munity is located at 287 Main St., in East Hartford and is open Monday-urs- day, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. In what ways are you involved in the community? I am a board/committee member of a half-dozen nonprofit, education and healthcare agencies includ- ing Capital Area Healthcare Partnership, Glastonbury Youth & Family Services, Advanced Behavioral Health, Yale's Center for Health & Justice, CT State's Micro-Credentialing, and multiple health and human service task forces. On the job Guiding business principle: If care isn't good enough for my family, it isn't good enough for anyone's family, which is why I (and my entire family) get our primary care at InterCommunity.
