Tateronis knew he needed a staff with current ties to the area in order for Prince Lobel Worcester office to hit the ground running. In addition to Angelini, he managed to cra a lineup of attorneys from Bowdtich with a range of experience and expertise. High on the list is Louis Ciavarra, another former Bowditch managing partner. A senior partner at Bowditch since 1985 special- izing in intellectual property, contract negotiations, and litigation, Ciavarra is an early Angelini protege. Other well-es- tablished names include George Tetler, a business and finance lawyer with four decades of experience, and Doug Radi- gan, an experienced litigator who first joined Bowditch in 2008. Younger lawyers making the jump from Bowditch to Prince Lobel include Karina Abeddy, Mark Borenstein, Brian Edmonds, Jared Fiore, Joshua Lewin, Tim Monahan, AiVi Nguyen, and Mark F O C U S Prince Lobel Tye's attorneys from Bowditch First joined Attorney Bowditch & Dewey Legal education Practice area Michael Angelini 1967 Duke University Law School Trial lawyer who works with public and private companies George Tetler 1982 American University Washington College Led Bowditch's business and of Law; Boston University School of Law finance groups Louis Ciavarra 1985 Suffolk University Law School Trial lawyer who works with businesses Mark Powers 1992 University of Chicago Law School Financial services Brian Beaton 2005* Suffolk University Law School Real estate Doug Radigan 2008 American University Washington College of Law Trial and appellate lawyer who led Bowditch's litigation group AiVi Nguyen 2009 Boston College Law School Trial and appellate lawyer who works with businesses Jared Fiore 2015 Notre Dame Law School Trial lawyer who provides business advice Joshua Lewin 2015 Boston College Law School Anchored Bowditch's Boston litigation practice Mark Borenstein 2018 New England Law Boston Real estate Tim Monahan 2018 Boston College Law School Business and finance Brian Edmonds 2023 New England Law Boston Dispute resolution and litigation Karina Abeddy 2024 Boston College Law School Bond transactions; financing deals * Left Bowditch in 2015, most recently serving as deputy general counsel at Energy North Group Source: Prince Lobel Tye Powers. Despite the impressive list of attorneys who have jumped ship to Prince Lobel, Angelini drew the most attention, and for good reason. Nothing lasts forever During the summer of 1967, when tens of thousands of hippies were descending on San Francisco for what would become known as the Summer of Love, the Leominster-born Angelini was instead beginning his tenure at Bowditch as a summer clerk. He would join the firm full time a year later. Six decades and 18 Worcester mayoral administrations later, he remained at Bowditch until his official departure on Aug. 30, serving two stints as the firm's managing partner totaling 31 years. A member of the inaugural WBJ Hall of Fame class in 2017, Angelini's prior experience ranges from being the chairman of the e Hanover Insurance Group and the Worcester Redevelop- ment Authority to co-founding the First Wednesday Club, an invite-only coterie of some of the city's top business minds.
