Bar Harbor Bank & Trust announced the winners of its "Brand Behavior Awards." Winners included Saxon Tinto and Crystal Wood who shared the "Communication Award:" Mark Giordano and Bonnie Poland, "Initiative Award;" Michelle Siggers and Beth Zullo, "Positivity Award;" Melanie Bowden and Kevin Gendreau, "Professionalism Award;" CJ Carver and Nancy Silva, "Quality Award;" and Kathleen Buck and Nicole Bunker, "Teamwork Award." The Maine Technology Institute in Brunswick announced that seven of its clients were named to the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private com- panies in the U.S. e list included Camp Tek Software, Portland, No. 861, 579% growth; Defendity, Portland, No. 1,005, 509% growth; HistoryIT, South Portland, No. 1,595, 325% growth; Compotech, Brewer, No. 1,707, 305% growth; VETRO, Portland, No. 1,982, 263% growth; ATX Advisory Services, Biddeford, No. 2,938, 172% growth; and Tilson Technology Management, Portland, No. 2,740, 125% growth. Preti Flaherty, a law firm in Portland, said that 25 of its Maine-based attor- neys were named to "Best Lawyers in America 2025." Berman & Simmons, a law firm in Lewiston, said that Daniel Kagan and Travis Brennan were named to "Best Lawyers in America 2025." Verrill, a law firm in Portland, said that Kurt Klebe, Mary McQuillen and Jacqueline Rider were recognized in the "Chambers High Net Worth 2024 Guide," a pub- lication aimed at the international pri- vate wealth market. e firm was also ranked in "band 1," the highest ranking a firm can receive, for its private wealth law practice in Maine. In addition, the firm said that 47 of its Maine-based attorneys were named to "Best Lawyers in America 2025." Pierce Atwood LLP, a law firm in Portland, said that 41 of its Maine- based attorneys were named to "Best Lawyers in America 2025."
