Marziale leverages his extensive tech- nical expertise to offer valuable insights and guidance beyond the scope of core audit services, helping clients overcome business challenges and achieve growth and success. Marziale is also deeply committed to the accounting profession, Troy LePage is the chief operating officer and executive vice president of HAI Group, a family of companies that provides insurance and related services to the affordable housing industry nationwide. Since joining the company in 2017, LePage has held positions of increasing responsibility, including chief compli- ance officer and chief financial officer. Under his leadership, the company has seen consistent profitability since 2018, and has grown revenue from $150 million to over $250 million. devoting considerable time to training and mentoring the next generation of leaders. What's been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career? In January 2024, I achieved a significant milestone in my career by receiving my office's prestigious "Breakthrough Award." This accolade recognizes individuals who exemplify the firm's core values by fostering opportunities for our colleagues, positively impacting our cli- ents, and contributing to the betterment of our communities. How are you involved in the community? I actively participate in the firm's Community Impact initiatives, which involve various volunteering and fund- raising events throughout the year. Additionally, I participate in our firm's Week of Caring, which is a week dedicated to giving back to nonprofit organizations in the greater Hartford area. Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty? • Commitment to world-class client service by listening and being respon- sive to the needs of my clients, and supporting them through all stages of their business. • Dedication to attracting and devel- oping the next generation of leaders in the accounting profession through recruiting, training and on-the-job mentoring. What's been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career? Besides being an HBJ 40 Under Forty honoree, which I am humbled my col- leagues nominated me for, watching the continued success of my mentees has been incredibly rewarding. I owe part of my success to my mentors, and always strive to pay that generosity forward. Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty? • As the COO, I play a critical leadership role in managing a business with more than $250 million in revenues whose mission is to protect the sustainability of affordable housing, which is vitally important. • Because I've garnered deep expertise in areas that affect our customers nationwide, such as cybersecurity, I am regularly asked to present at industry conferences around the country. Regardless of our customers' chal- lenges, I'm ready to get involved. • I've played a significant role in growing our organization from 150 employees to 175 and implementing transformational technolog- ical improvements to support our future. How are you involved in the community? As a mission-driven organization, HAI Group is always looking for ways to give back to our community. In the past year alone, I've personally participated in food and school supply drives and Habitat for Humanity, among other things.
