Where did Maine's home
buyers come from during
the pandemic?
The breakdown by state
any places in Maine saw an influx of out-of-state home buyers in recent
years. But where are all of Maine's single-family home buyers coming
from? Most still come from elsewhere in Maine. But we're seeing a larger share
from out of state, starting with Massachusetts and some other New England
states. Maine's new residents are also coming in surprising numbers from warm
weather states like California, Texas and Florida.
