What impact did receiving the 40
Under Forty award have on you
personally and/or professionally?
When you own and operate your
own business it is exceptionally rare
that you get an opportunity to hit
the pause button and reflect on your
accomplishments. Entrepreneurs wear
many hats and it feels like that goes
double for a business like mine which
had to be completely rebuilt coming
out of a global pandemic. My 40 Under Forty Award in 2022
came at a critical time for me as the stress and hard work I
had to put in to keep my business afloat came with very little
downtime and absolutely no recognition. Just when you think
there is nobody on the sidelines cheering you on and clapping
for you, The WBJ proves once again why they are the premier
business journal in the state. The WBJ is that cheerleader
that we need in Central Mass and when I reflect on my
career somewhere down the road, walking the red carpet at
Mechanics Hall in front of my friends and family will be at the
top of the list. It honestly brings a tear to my eye.
