The Women's Busi- ness Development Council, a nonprofit that provides services to women-owned companies and entre- preneurs, has three new board members. They are: Trish Havey, chief human resources officer at Libertas Funding; Travis Parman, chief communications officer at Philip Morris International, U.S.; and Marissa M. Weidner EVP, chief corporate respon- sibility officer at Webster Bank. East Haddam-based historic theater Goodspeed Musicals is looking for a new managing director to replace David B. Movers & Shakers Kevin Graney, president of General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, will retire at the end of the year, the submarine manufacturer said. Graney, who has been with the company for nearly 30 years, will be succeeded by Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President Mark Rayha, effective Dec. 1. Graney joined General Dynamics in 1995 and served in a variety of leadership roles at Electric Boat Corp. and the National Steel and Shipbuilding Co. He was promoted to general manager and then president of National Steel from 2013 to 2019, before being named president of EB in 2019. Rayha joined General Dynamics in 1989 at Land Systems in Michigan. He became chief financial officer of General Dynamics Mission Systems in Fairfax, Virginia, in 2015. He joined EB in 2020 and served as CFO from 2021 to 2023, before being named COO in 2023. Andre "Andy" Motulski has been named senior vice president, chief financial officer at Northwest Community Bank in Winsted. Motulski brings 13 years of finan- cial experience to his new position. Previously, he served as the VP/controller at a community bank in western Massa- chusetts, and was a financial institution examiner at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting at Central Connecticut State University. Rocky Hill IT company ADNET Technologies announced that Mike Konderwich has been promoted to vice president of service operations. Konderwich, formerly ADNET's director of professional services, has been with the firm for over 10 years. In his new role, he will focus on service development and delivery. FOX61 announced that Terry Wood has been named news director for WTIC, TEGNA's FOX affil- iate in Hartford, effective Aug. 19. Wood will oversee all news and content operations and lead the station's strategic vision for growing Mark Rayha Andre Motulski Mike Konderwich Trish Havey Travis Parman Marissa Weidner Byrd, who is leaving at the end of September after about four years. Byrd will become chief oper- ating officer at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He is returning to the area for "a new opportunity closer to his family." Byrd previously worked at the Virginia Stage Company and the University of Tennessee's Clar- ence Brown Theatre. The Office of the State Trea- surer has named a new assistant treasurer following the retirement of a longtime leader in the office. Assistant Treasurer for Debt Management Bettina Bronisz retired effective Aug. 1. She will be replaced by Kimberly Mooers, who started working in the treasurer's office last year after serving as execu- tive director of the Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corp., the largest bond issuer in Rhode Island. Bronisz became an assistant state treasurer last year. Before that, she was the principal debt management specialist. She worked in the treasurer's office for about 13 years.
