FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES e Annual New Beginnings Charity Golf Tournament, held in May, raises funds for the Community Connections program, providing social, competitive, and recreational opportunities for children and adults with disabilities. e tournament needs sponsors, donors, auction items, volunteers, and golfers. e Annual Lori Lajoie Charity Golf Tournament held in August, raises funds to support unmet program needs and seeks sponsors, donors, auction items, and volunteers. e Call to Care Fund ensures people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities receive the care they need to reach their fullest potential and a lifetime of health and happiness. sevenhills.org/donate. GIVING OPPORTUNITIES Online donations gratefully accepted year-round at sevenhills.org/donate. Donation remittance envelopes are inserted in the Horizons newsletter, distributed to all Seven Hills stakeholders twice annually. Seven Hills Foundation sends out an annual appeal by mail in late fall. Seven Hills Foundation seeks and submits grant proposals for funding for all affiliates and their various programs. Donations of school and medical supplies as well as clothing gratefully accepted by Seven Hills Global Outreach for partners in eight developing nations around the world. Tribute and memorial donations are gratefully accepted at sevenhills.org/donate. Donations of non-cash assets or through wills, trusts, life insurance policies, and/or IRAs are gratefully accepted at sevenhills.org/giving. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Volunteering is an important way to make a difference at Seven Hills Foundation & Affiliates. Sharing your talents and enthusiasm will make a dramatic, positive impact on the people we support—improving the quality of life for everyone. Examples of current volunteer opportunities include: Family Services of Central Massachusetts operates the AmeriCorps Volunteer Senior Companion Program that recruits adults, aged 55 and over, to connect one-on-one with seniors who need assistance with activities of daily living and can benefit from socialization and friendship; and the AmeriCorps RSVP Seniors Volunteer Program, part of a nationwide network of nearly 200,000 adults, aged 55 and over, who share their talents, skills, and life experiences with their communities in various capacities. Seven Hills Family Services relies on volunteer coaches and unified partners to host 12 Special Olympic competitive sports teams, as well as a host of recreation activities, including arts, music, and health & wellness.
