VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Board of Directors - RCAP Solutions seeks individuals who are passionate about supporting rural and underserved communities. Our strategic and professional group of volunteers meet quarterly to lead our diverse organization towards a successful future. We seek: • Northeastern U.S. and Caribbean: Individuals who understand rural community issues, including economic development, health care, tourism, farming, environmental or education. • Central Massachusetts: Individuals who recognize low- income family needs, such as the support services required to maintain employment, including case management, goal setting, education and referral sources. Advisory Councils & Committees – We also seek volunteers to advise our board and staff, advocate for our constituents and help to create stronger communities in these key areas: • Subsidiary Boards: Our subsidiary boards provide guidance to our eleven affordable rental properties, which serve seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families. e properties are located in Worcester, Athol, Bolton, Boylston, Groton, Hubbardston, Northbridge, Townsend and Webster. Our subsidiary boards meet annually. • Audit Committee: In coordination with staff, assist the board in overseeing organizational funds, help select a qualified audit firm and adhere to audit procedures. • Coalition for Safe Drinking Water: Individuals and organizations advocating for equitable access to safe drinking water for private well owners across Massachusetts. SERVICE AREA As the Worcester County affiliate of The Regional Housing Network (RHN) of Massachusetts, RCAP Solutions provides services to over 15,700 families each year in Central Massachusetts with a wide range of housing and supportive programs. RCAP Solutions is also the Northeast and Caribbean affiliate of the six-member national RCAP Network, which advocates for rural communities and provides guidance on water-related and infrastructure issues.
