The facility will be located at 875 China Road (Route 137) in Winslow. Sheridan Construction in Fairfield completed a 6,080-square-foot reno- vation of the Beth Israel Synagogue in Waterville. The company also said it completed projects for U-Haul in Winslow and Brunswick. Bar Harbor research center proposed Jackson Laboratory, a nonprofit biomed- ical research institution headquartered at 600 Main St. in Bar Harbor, has submit- ted an application to the town's planning board to build a 20,000-square-foot expansion to its Rare Disease and Translation Center. e planning board has the application on the July 3 agenda. e addition will allow for the con- solidation and expansion of the lab's Rare Disease Translational Center and provide dedicated laboratory and office space, according to the application.
