Matthews brings years of experience in community investment, economic devel- opment, and commercial real estate. Most recently, she served as the vice president of community investment at MassDevel- opment for the Central Region of Massa- chusetts – a role she held since 2006. Her extensive portfolio includes overseeing initiatives such as the Collaborative Work- space Grant Program, Predevelopment Loans, the Transformative Development Initiative, and the administration of the Brownfields Redevelopment Fund. She was directly involved in the development of the Polar Park stadium and several affordable housing initiatives. Matthews holds a bachelor's degree from Emory University in Georgia. MICHAEL JACOBS, principal of Worces- ter real estate brokerage NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs, has been named chair of the NAI Global Leadership Board, which provides leadership to the more than 300 NAI Global offices. Jacobs joined NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs in 2003 and ascended to partnership in 2007. He holds a degree in business management from Assumption University in Worcester. Fidelity Bank, head- quartered in Leomin- ster, promoted two employees and hired a third. CYNTHIA TILTON has been promoted to vice president, enterprise project manager and will supervise project management initia - tives, making sure they adhere to the bank's strategic goals and objectives. Before joining Fidelity, Tilton held several roles in training, business development, business analysis, and project management during her 18-year tenure at financial services provider Deluxe, based in Minnesota. Tilton received her bachelor's degree from Fitch - burg State University. JIM NOTARO was promoted to senior vice president, director of digital delivery, product, and market intel- ligence from his position as vice president, director, product innovation. With 20 years at Fidelity, Notaro will oversee the bank's client care center and digital services in his new role. He earned his bachelor's degree from Fitchburg State University and MBA from Bentley University in Waltham. ANDREW BURGOYNE has been hired as banking center manager at Fidelity's Millbury location. A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Burgoyne will manage all center operations, including developing and executing business action plans and strengthening customer experience. He comes to the position with 14 years of man - agement experience, having most recently served as vice president, store manager for two Worcester TD Bank locations. KARIN GAFFNEY has returned to Worcester-based Bay State Savings Bank as the vice president, commercial loan officer. Gaffney previ- ously worked for Bay State during her 30- year banking career, in addition to holding roles at Enterprise Bank, headquartered in Lowell, and Marlborough-based St. Mary's Credit Union. Gaffney is a graduate of Clemson University in South Carolina. SPENCER WALNISTA has been hired as an associate broker at NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs in Worcester. In this role, Walnista will be involved in facilitating com - mercial real estate transactions, with a fo- cus on retail investments and development. A native of Shrewsbury, Walnista formerly worked as a senior associate auditor at Boston financial services firm State Street and graduated with a degree in finance from Fairfield University in Connecticut. Country Bank, headquartered in Ware, has named THOMAS DUFAULT as its new se- nior vice president, retail lending. Dufault has 35 years of experience in the mort- gage industry and has served as the board president of North Central Massachusetts Habitat for Humanity for the last four years. DuFault comes to Country Bank fol- lowing a role at Marlborough-based Main Street Bank, where he served as senior vice president of retail lending and loan operations.
