The group is part of the firm's employment and labor practice. She was previously the associate general counsel at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, handling a broad range of legal and compliance matters including contract drafting and negotiations, policy development, civil rights, and Title IX compliance. Before working at WPI, she was a civil rights attorney with the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights and focused largely on Title IX and Section 504. Fabiano earned her juris doctor from Boston University School of Law, where she was elected to the law review. She earned her master's and bachelor's degrees in political science from Boston University, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Leominster Credit Union promoted five employees, including RANDY HARRIS, who was named vice president treasury. Harris joined LCU in 2004 as a financial analyst before being promoted to finance officer and then AVP treasury. Harris holds an associate's degree from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester and a bachelor's degree from UMass Amherst. KATHY HURLEY was promoted to vice president human resources. She joined LCU in 2004 as a teller and worked in lending as an indirect specialist. Hurley transitioned into HR nearly 15 years ago. She has a bachelor's degree and an MBA from Fitchburg State University and is a certified professional in human resources through the Society for Human Resources Management and the Human Resources Certification Institute. TIM MacLEOD has been promoted to vice president facilities and security.
