The Associated General Contractors of Maine recognized four major projects as part of its 2024 Build Maine Awards. CPM Constructors won the "2024 Highway/Bridge Division Award" for its Exit 45 Interchange Project, Sargent Corp.'s Back Cove West Storage Conduit Project captured the "Municipal/ Utility Award," PC Construction was recog- nized for the USM Portland Commons Residence Hall & McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Services Project with the "Building Division Award" and N.S Giles' Danforth Fishway project to help restore the Penobscot River won the "Specialty/ Subcontractor Award." Anna Moorman and Jo-Ann Neal, agents at Allen Insurance and Financial in Camden, were recognized with a "Bronze Level Award for Medicare Sales in 2023" by Anthem. Moorman and Neal specialize in Medicare insurance. Saco Main Street, a nonprofit organization dedicated to small business and downtown revitalization, said that board members Christopher Talbot and Elizabeth Gummere received the "Presidential Volunteer Service Award" for their commitment to service and making a positive impact in their community.
