Taylor, currently a professor at CT State Community College, Naugatuck Valley and a former chair of the foundation's board of trustees, will succeed Julie Loughran, who plans to step down from the position in June, after 10 years at the organization. Taylor will be only the fourth CEO in the history of the 100-year-old foundation. She will officially assume her new role on June 17. Union Savings Bank in Danbury has announced six new corporators. They include: Wendy Bernard, an attorney and managing member at Southbury-based Bernard Law Group LLC; Steven Boa DeMoura, a probate judge serving northern Fairfield County and an attorney and owner of The Law Office of Steven Boa DeMoura in Bethel; Perry R. Delta Dental of Connecticut announced that Stuart Brereton has been named its new vice president and chief sales officer. Brereton is a seasoned insurance industry leader in healthcare, life and disability insurance with sales and business development experi- ence. He most recently served as regional vice president at Prudential Financial, and spent many years before that at The Hartford, where he began as a sales executive, serving the large group market, and ultimately ascending to the position of regional sales director. Law firm Murtha Cullina has named Partner Eric J. Gyllenborg chair of the firm's business law practice, and Jaimie L. Russell and Matthew A. Pesce as associates in its litigation practice. Gyllenborg provides counsel to corporate clients on a wide array of business and finance matters. His practice focuses on general corpo- rate matters including mergers and acquisitions, insurance agent and broker business and transactions, commercial lending, private securi- ties offerings, private equity, venture capital, employment and intellectual property law. Russell conducts legal research, crafts litigation strategies and has experience as an insurance defense and civil litigation and securities attorney. The Aurora Women and Girls Foundation, a 24-year-old nonprofit based in West Hartford, has welcomed one staff member and three new members to its board of directors. Michelle M. Murphy of West Hartford is Aurora's new devel- opment manager. A fundraising and communications profes- sional, she worked most recently at the Springfield Museums, where she was vice president of develop- ment and marketing.
