BUSINESS PROFILES | MAY 2024 | HARTFORD BUSINESS JOURNAL 17 Phone: (860) 906-4454 Website: longviewvitality.com Product or Service: Coaching for executive wellness, career accelera- tion and self-development Top Executive: Christine Bilotti- Peterson, founder and CEO Year Founded: 2019 The self-development you didn't even know you needed L ongview Vitality is expanding the concept of Executive Coaching and a broader definition of success with the Longview Vitality Success Method, a holistic approach that will help you unlock your full potential. The methodology combines physical and mental wellness, career development, and self-discovery through proven executive development methods and tools for building leadership, self-concept and emotional intelligence. After 30 years of coaching C-Level executives, founder Christine Bilotti-Peterson said she focuses on helping people at all levels "learn more about themselves: discover their strengths, adjust their triggers, and understand their motives and values. "I work to connect individuals with their purpose. A question I ask often is: 'What would you do if money was no object?'" The combination of their expertise and skills helps connect and align people with their purpose, whether they do this for their traditional 9-5 or what they participate in outside of work. "People find me when they are feeling stuck. We gain clarity on their short-term and longer- term goals," she said, "Are they looking to advance their career? Are they looking to get healthier? Are they looking to get out of a scarcity mindset? Shift from imposter syndrome to self-confidence? Reduce anxiety? Manage stress? Then, we put a coaching plan together to help them achieve their next level." As a former Chief Human Resource Officer and veteran of the corporate and recruiting world, Bilotti-Peterson has coached on career progression and success. Now she also helps early-in-career talent launch their careers. "The future definition of success is much broader," she said. "If you want the traditional corporate track, I will help you with that professional goal. If you want an entrepreneurial lifestyle, let's bring your new business to life. People come to me because they want to perform better and the result is higher performance – and being happier and healthier, too." Some of her favorite assignments are individu- als in a "mid-life career awakening." As Bilot- ti-Peterson explained, it's not a mid-life crisis. It's the realization a career or lifestyle may no longer be fulfilling, or they have grown out of it. In these cases, she offers "career and lifestyle pivot" coaching for people who want to venture into a field they had not previously considered – or a lifestyle they had only dreamt about. Longview Vitality uses a variety of assessment tools to assess one's current state, including a 'personality and workstyle DNA report' that helps clients develop a higher level of emotional intelligence. "When a client is able to see this self-assess- ment data, and then the Longview improvement tools and methods, that is where the magic happens," Bilotti-Peterson said. "I call it 'the development you never knew you needed.'" "The number one key to success, and one of the things I pride myself on, is helping people master emotional regulation," she said. "The most powerful people in the room are those with the highest level of emotional regulation." "My mission is clear: I help those at important career, life and health inflection points to get clear on their goals, create an intentional plan and have increased success, vital thriving health and don't forget the happiness effect." Christine Bilotti- Peterson is founder and CEO of Longview Vitality in Simsbury.
