Hartford nonprofit Our Piece of the Pie, which provides services for urban youth, recently announced two promotions and a new addition to its leadership team. Chanda Robinson has been named interim chief operating officer. Girard Dawes is the senior director of youth engagement. Veronica Maldonado is the director of organizational devel- opment and capacity. Civil and environmental engi- neering firm Fuss & O'Neill has promoted Sudip Bafna to the role of environment and facility services business line leader. Sudip, a vice president with 20 years of experi- ence, has been with the firm since 2014 and will oversee the compliance, environmental and remediation departments. Thomaston Savings Bank recently announced the promotion of Branch Manager Joe Beale. Beale has been promoted to officer, branch manager, respon- sible for continuing to manage the bank's Farmington branch. Beale joined the bank last November, with over 19 years of banking experience. The Alzheimer's Associa- tion Connecticut chapter has promoted Laura B. Hoffman to vice president of development. In this capacity, Hoffman manages a team that implements several association events through volun- teer recruitment and engagement and corporate development. Jewett City Savings Bank recently announced the promotions of Diana Rose, Mark Light, Matthew Voelker and Brian Streigle. Rose, senior vice president, chief administrative officer, has been promoted to executive vice president. Light, who joined the bank in 2021, has been promoted to senior vice president, chief banking officer. Voelker, who joined the bank in 2022, has been promoted to assistant vice presi- dent, junior commercial loan officer. Streigle has been promoted to assistant vice president. New Britain-based Community Mental Health Affiliates Inc. has named Scott Wozena its new chief financial officer. As CFO, Wozena will be respon- sible for the behavioral healthcare provider's financial functions and Movers & Shakers Nick Wormley has been appointed vice president of development and alumni affairs at Quinnipiac University. In his new role, Wormley will serve on President Judy Olian's management council and have leadership responsibility for all fundraising and development across the university, as well as oversight of alumni affairs. Wormley, who began his higher education career at Quinnipiac in 2006, has also worked at Sacred Heart and Fairfield universities, where he focused on athletic development, endowment growth and capital project fundraising — all in senior management roles. West Hartford based CPA firm Gitlin & Company LLC has promoted Kathleen E. McKeon to partner. She is responsible for a diverse array of tax and accounting services to a variety of businesses and individuals. She joined the firm in 2017, and has 21 years of public and private accounting experience. She is a graduate of Central Connecticut State Univer- sity and a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
