EQUAL HOUSING LENDER MEMBER FDIC Worcester Bravehearts sold to owners of Masis Staffing Solutions Following the December sale of the Worcester Red Sox, another local base- ball franchise is under new ownership, as the Worcester Bravehearts have been sold. e Bravehearts, which play in the Future's League, have been purchased by Frank Vaccaro and his family, according to a release issued by the team Feb. 7 on X, formerly known as Twitter. Members of the Vaccaro family own and operate Masis Staffing Solutions, a Worcester-based company with 60+ branches across 25 states. Matt Vaccaro, a member of WBJ's 2022 40 under Forty class, will serve as the team's new president. "We are honored to continue the tra- dition of the Worcester Bravehearts and will strive to deliver a product that the city can be proud of, both on and off the field," Matt Vaccaro said in the release. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. In addition to their work at Masis Staffing Solutions, Frank Vaccaro, along with his sons Matt and Frank Jr., are coaches for the Shrewsbury American Legion Post 397 baseball team. e team was sold by John Creedon Jr., who founded the team in 2013. In addition to his former ownership of the Bravehearts, Creedon owns the Nashua Silver Knights, another summer colle- giate-level baseball team. "My family and I could not be more excited to pass the Bravehearts' torch to our friends and neighbors, the Vaccaro family," Creedon said in the release. "ey will continue the incredible run that the Bravehearts have enjoyed over the last decade, and will no doubt enhance it with their own style and touches."
