Prior to joining Delta Dental of Connecticut, Bennis served as executive vice president and chief operating officer at Avesis, a dental and vision insurance provider, where he ran the day-to-day operations while leading a comprehensive transformation program to create a one-stop shop of supplemental benefits. Bennis received his MBA at the UCLA Anderson School of Manage- ment and a master's of public adminis- tration at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Law firm Pullman & Comley LLC recently announced the promotions of Dana M. Hrelic, Michael J. Marafito and Zachary T. Zeid to members. Hrelic is an appellate and commercial litiga- tion attorney with experi- ence in state, territorial and federal appeals. Her practice focuses on the areas of constitutional law, complex litigation, business law, family law, juvenile law, personal injury, among other areas. Marafito has been an attorney with the firm since 2016, in the property tax and valuation practice. He negotiates with munici- palities and revaluation firms and appears before local boards of assessment appeals to contest inequitable tax assessments. Zeid practices in the labor, employment law and employee benefits arena with a focus on counseling businesses, public entities and nonprofits in labor and employment, human resources administration and other areas. The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving's Catalyst Endowment Fund has announced new leadership for its steering committee. Former vice chair Amanda Aronson has been selected to serve as chair of the $2 million fund, and Bill McDonald will be vice chair. Aronson is founder and president of StoryB, where she supports indi- viduals as an executive leadership and performance coach, and organizations as a strategic operational consultant. McDonald is a founding partner and senior wealth management advisor at Tidewater Wealth Management, where he provides financial plan- ning for individuals and organizations. The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art has named Jack D. Morton as its new director of finance. He started his new position on Jan. 11. Morton, a CPA, comes to the Wadsworth with a broad range of experience in the arts, corporate world, and academia. He was the controller of the Cincinnati Institute of Fine Arts, now known as ArtsWave, a funding hub for more than 150 arts organiza- tions in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was also previously the controller for the Cincinnati Opera, where he was instrumental in obtaining grants sustaining the organization through the pandemic. Morton replaces Tracey Krasniewski, who left to become director of finance for Goodspeed Musicals in August 2023. Bethany-based LATICRETE Inter- national Inc., a manufacturer of construction products, has added John Selldorff to its board of directors. Selldorff currently serves as the president and CEO of North and Central America for Legrand, an electrical and digital infrastructure manufacturing company based in West Hartford. In his current position at Legrand, he is responsible for the $4 billion business, 34 manufacturing sites, and more than 10,500 employees. Before Legrand, he served in leader- ship positions at both Honeywell and General Electric. Law firm Carmody has named Wesley D. Cain and Bridget D'An- gelo as partners. The firm has also elected Colleen Noonan Davis, Lawrence D. Paelet and Timothy A. Smith to the role of counsel. Cain, a partner in New Haven, represents public and closely held businesses and nonprofit organizations in all aspects of their operations, from forma- tion and startup through growth, ongoing opera- tions and exit planning. D'Angelo, a partner in New Haven, focuses primarily on commercial real estate transactions, representing developers, institutions, corporations, families and individuals in development projects and real estate transactions.
