22 Lamoureux Pagano Associates | Architects Having formed solid professional relationships in previous years, the firm had earned a great deal of trust in and respect for its work. The collective expertise of the designers, architects and creative individuals who comprise LPA|A know each other's strengths and draw on them to provide the best possible solution for each client. The lifting of the moratorium on public school construction meant that major projects throughout Central Massachusetts could again move forward. LPA|A completed several significant academic projects during this time, designing the Clark University Admissions Center in 2011; Leominster High School renovations in 2013; J.R. Briggs Elementary School in Ashburnham and Sherwood Middle School in Shrewsbury, both in 2013; Auburn Middle School in 2015; an addition/ renovation to the Lincoln Street School in Northborough in 2016; and the Mountview Middle School in Holden in 2016. 2010s: An Expanding Portfolio This decade heralded a slow economic climb following the Great Recession. The U.S. unemployment rate remained relatively high at 9.6 percent, in spite of the creation of approximately 2 million jobs in 2012. Through this economic roller coaster ride, LPA|A continued to receive commissions from the City of Worcester and surrounding towns. 22 Lamoureux Pagano Associates | Architects
