ERIC MOORE, Principal, said
of his move into leadership
at the firm, "I am extremely

owner of LPA|A. When I started
working here thirty years ago,
I never imagined that I would
one day become one of the
senior staff that others looked
to for advice. I hope that I'm
able to be the kind of mentor
to younger staff that Dick
Lamoureux was to me and so
many others."
By this time LPA|A had forged
a solid relationship with the City
of Worcester and several local
agencies, organizations and
businesses, as evidenced by its
growing list of projects. The firm's
portfolio included renovations to
the YMCA Greendale Pool and Girls
Inc. of Worcester in 1992. LPA|A
also completed commissions for
Community Healthlink in 1994 and
the VNA Hospice in 1997; in 1995
the firm designed the addition to The
Worcester Club.
The firm also undertook
commissions throughout Central
Massachusetts, designing the police
station in the Town of Charlton in
1993 and the Shrewsbury Senior
Center in 1999.
In nearby Bolton, LPA|A designed
the new Pro-shop and Mixed Grille at
the International Golf Club in 1991.
The final design incorporated special
lighting, soft colors and a stone
fireplace centerpiece in the Club's
full-service building that includes a
dining room, bar and locker rooms.
LPA|A also designed IGC's new
150-person conference center. n
