He takes great pride in keeping the beer section stocked with fresh selections and always well organized and can play a mean tune on the guitar when he's not serving up perfect pairing recommendations. Alicia Giuffrida, Wine Associate/ Assistant Manager, Norwood Alicia is a Certified WSET 3 / Somm 1 wine specialist and has deep experience that goes well beyond simply providing excellent pairing recommendations. She has organized seminars and wine dinners with leading industry experts like Joseph Carr and Karl Wente, and loves working with customers across the wine, spirits, and beer spectrums. She finds the pairing of champagne and fried chicken a delightful combination, and you can find her selling her artwork at King Richard's Faire in her spare time. Michael Pettine, Wine Director, Swansea Mike has never been far from Yankee Spirits, as he was born just a few miles down the road from the Swansea location. Raised up in the town he now works in, Mike has also worked in far-off places like Arizona where he manned the beverage decisions for a bustling lodge and marina and has also worn the sales hat as a representative for Ruby Wines. Today, he's happy to call Yankee Spirits his home, where he puts his degree from Johnson and Wales University to good use helping customers make the best decisions possible when buying wines for their collection or next special occasion.
