Raising awareness for the rights and inclusion of people
with disabilities has been one of Seven Hills' greatest
accomplishments, according to Altomare. "It's important
that the organization thrives and continues to care for and
foster the independence of people with disabilities in the
community," he said. "While they have challenges when
given the opportunity to lead their best lives, they succeed
with a bit of help and encouragement."
Board member Deborah Needleman agrees with Altomare
and emphasized that Seven Hills serves as a role model in the
industry. "Everything we have done has been for the benefit
of the people we serve. ey have flourished because of that,
and the kind of work we do has been a guiding light for other
organizations that want to move forward," she said.
During the next decade, Jordan anticipates that Seven Hills
will continue to lead the sector, forging new paths to meet
emerging demands and bridging the gap between health and
human services and health care.
