Anita N. Lee has been appointed associate dean of academic and faculty affairs and professor of health science studies in the School of Health Sciences at Quinnipiac University. In her new role, Lee will be responsible for developing and supporting the School of Health Sciences faculty, promoting academic excellence and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. She comes to Quinnipiac from Eastern Connecticut State University, where she served as professor, founding faculty and acting chair of the Depart- ment of Health Sciences. Amanda Falcone, public relations director for Middlesex Health, was named the 2023 Practitioner of the Year by the Public Relations Society of America Greater Connecticut Chapter. Danbury-based Union Savings Bank announced that Richard Evanko has been hired as vice presi- dent, senior commercial loan officer. Evanko will serve USB's commer- cial portfolio clients, in addition to establishing new middle market commercial, industrial and not-for- profit relationships throughout Fairfield and Litchfield counties. Evanko has nearly 20 years of experience in financial services, having worked at HSBC Bank USA, JPMorgan Chase, The First Bank of Greenwich and First County Bank in Stamford. Jeff Williams has been named YMCA of Greater Hartford's chief development officer. Williams succeeds Susan Joyse, who is retiring from the role. Williams has been with the YMCA of Greater Hartford since 2013, most recently serving as asso- ciate vice president of development. KeyBank has promoted several leaders within its retail banking network serving clients in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Elona Shape has been named market retail leader for Connecticut and Massachusetts. Reporting to Shape is new area retail leader for CT North/ MA Rocco Valletta, and new area retail leader for CT South, Jarleam Gonzalez. The Connecticut Society of CPAs recently recognized two employees of Hartford accounting and consulting firm Whittlesey. Lindsay Tessler was named one of CTCPAs "Women to Watch," while Emily Kindle was named an "Aspiring CPA." Tessler has 14 years of accounting experience and joined the firm in 2015. She specializes in assur- ance and advisory services for financial institutions. Kindle has over six years of accounting experience and joined the firm in 2017.
