Dick- inson as a shareholder in its New Haven office. Dickinson, who was a shareholder at Littler from 2011 to 2021, rejoins the firm from FordHarrison. Dickinson has nearly three decades of experience assisting clients in a wide range of employment and labor law issues, ranging from disability accommodation to leave of absence considerations. The University of Hartford recently honored Hartford HealthCare President and CEO Jeffrey A. Flaks with its "Exec- utive Leader of the Year Award." UHart said it gives out the award annu- ally to a professional who is an authority in their industry and has guided their organization with expertise and vision. UHart said it honored Flaks because he is a "champion of health equity" who has "advocated for new and innovative strategies in providing care to underserved and underrepresented patients." The CT Blockchain Association has named Troy A. Paredes a strategic advisor. He will provide consulting on matters relating to blockchain, finance and strategy. Paredes is the founder of Paredes Strategies LLC, and from 2008 to 2013, he was a U.S. Secu- rities and Exchange Commission commis- sioner, appointed by President George W. Bush. He advises on financial regulation, compliance, risk management, corporate governance and regulatory strategy. He also serves as an expert and advisor in regulatory enforcement investigations, and in private liti- gation involving securities law and corporate law. Meghan Finn has joined nonprofit biomedical research institution The Jackson Laboratory as vice president and chief communications officer. In this role, Finn will be responsible for promoting JAX's brand, reputation and visibility in genetics and genomics with key audiences around the world. Finn joins JAX from the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in New York, the world's largest private funder of breast cancer research, where she served as chief commu- nications and engagement officer since 2016. Gov. Ned Lamont has appointed Martin Guay and Ted Yang to serve as members of the Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education, the governing body for the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system. CSCU consists of four state universities, Connecticut State Community College, and Charter Oak State College. Guay is vice president, business development, at Stanley Black & Decker, and Ted Yang has founded numerous companies and nonprofits, as well as founding and serving as CEO of 4-CT, Connecticut's largest COVID-19 relief fund. Their terms began on Sept. 8. They are replacing Regents Felice Gray- Kemp and Holly Howery. Weiss, Hale & Zahansky Stra- tegic Wealth Advisors (WHZ) has hired Kayla Densmor as a client relationship senior associate. She assists clients with opera- tional and administrative needs in collaboration with WHZ's financial advi- sors and larger team. Densmore brings over 15 years of experience in customer service, team leadership and business management to her new role. Prior to joining WHZ, she was the operations manager for Green Valley Hospitality, overseeing management functions for four companies. She launched her own accounts administration business in 2020. New Haven-based Dimeo Construction Co. recently announced two senior-level promo- tions, including a new CEO. Stephen F. Rutledge has been promoted to president and chief executive officer, while Bradford S. Dimeo has assumed the position of chairman. Both individuals have led the organization over the past 30 years and will continue to support internal and external enterprise activities. Meanwhile, Christopher P. Doepper, project executive and district manager, has been elevated to executive vice president, chief operating officer. Doepper joined Dimeo in 2005. Craig T.
