• The sale of Lots 19 through 22 north of T-Mobile
and adjacent to Interstate 95. The lots are owned
by Novel Energy Solutions, a St. Paul, Minnesota-
based company. Novel plans to develop a solar
farm on the lots beginning in late 2023.
• Maine Technology Group expanded and moved
its 16 employees to an existing office building
on Lot 1 at 15 Evergreen Drive in March 2023.
• A long-term lease was signed by MaineGeneral
Health for Oakland Family Medicine and its 20
employees to relocate to 25 FirstPark Drive in
June 2023 (Lot D).

KRDA's Continuing Mission
KRDA's mission is to systematically engage new
companies to come to Maine. KRDA's executive
director – a business ambassador for the entire
region – is actively pursuing prospects from leads
generated by firms that are experts in making such
contacts. KRDA has also solicited familiarization
tours from site selectors who represent companies
all over the country. The purpose of these visits
is to introduce national consultants to the value
proposition that central Maine provides.
KRDA has succeeded in the face of deep
economic adversities, including three recessions.
The FirstPark concept proved itself with the arrival
of T-Mobile in 2005 and the attraction of many
smaller firms that thrive to this day within the park.
FirstPark continues to be an asset of extraordinary
value for attracting new businesses to support the
economy of central Maine.
