2024 GOALS JMG's goal is to seize on our unique position and expertise to deepen the connection between education and employers to reinforce and advance a system of career readiness that prepares students for successful post-secondary opportunities and credentials of value attainment. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds: low-income, students with disabilities, students experiencing the foster care system or homelessness, and students who face inequities due to race, ethnicity, gender identity or personal, social and academic challenges. is year, JMG will serve more than 12,000 students throughout Maine's 16 counties, with more than 150 school partnerships and community collaborations. We are excited to announce we now have programming on every Maine public university and community college campus. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/ OPPORTUNITIES JMG's success is dependent on the involvement of hundreds of stakeholders and rests upon the strong foundation of an unwavering commitment to our core student-centered values. Our action-driven culture and relationship-based approach provides an environment to achieve positive outcomes on behalf of students and their families. Our long-standing partnerships with public education and employers uniquely positions JMG to support Maine's workforce development goals and the students of Maine as they begin their careers. For JMG students, exploring and experiencing workforce opportunities often becomes touchstones for personal growth and motivators for learning within school. GIVING OPPORTUNITIES JMG has many opportunities for individuals and employer partners. e JMG Partnership Program is for employers of all sizes and offers benefits for engagement at a multitude of levels. Additionally, there are opportunities for deeper, long-term partnerships, such as our Workforce Liaison partnership with MaineHealth. ese partnerships are customized for larger organizations to meet the needs of talent acquisition teams by providing a single point of contact at JMG that directly connects an organization to the youngest members of Maine's workforce. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES By connecting students to employers and community-based organizations outside of school, JMG students begin to see life through a different lens. Students learn and demonstrate leadership, decision- making and team-building skills. ey begin working in teams and gain insights into the value of their contributions. For JMG students, these experiences often become touchstones for personal growth, as well as motivators for learning within school. Volunteer opportunities include vol- unteering at student events, providing student internships, inviting students on a company tour, volunteering to speak in a classroom or offering job shadow- ing experiences at your place of work.
